AIIMSJ-IPHACON2017 Abstract Travel Scholarship

Organizing committee of IPHACON2017 is pleased to offer a limited number of abstract travel scholarships (To and Fro fare up to a maximum of three tier AC) to the registered delegates based on the quality of abstracts submitted and as reviewed by the Scientific committee of IPHACON2017. Abstract authors whose abstracts are selected to receive a scholarship will be notified via email. To qualify for the awards, the abstracts must be submitted before 15th January 2017

Late breaking abstracts will not be considered

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstracts should be submitted in English

Abstracts that are submitted must NOT have been previously presented in any other conference or published in any journals. Abstracts must be submitted by the deadline of 15th January 2017. All abstracts must be submitted by website/mail. Please indicate clearly as subject “Abstract submission for IPHACON 2017”

FORMAT OF ABSTRACTS

Title:

Please be as brief and explicit as possible. Do not use abbreviations or acronyms in the title.

Name(s) of Author(s)

First author: Type the complete name.
Co-authors: Type the complete name. The co-authors are citied in order of their contribution to the study; main contributors should be listed first.

Abstract Text:

  • Limit the text to 250 words
  • Use subtitles to mark the parts of the abstract (Please follow the structured format, indicatingthe following five parts of your abstract)
    • Background – provide the background to the problem/issue
    • Objectives – state the purpose of the study (research question) or a hypothesis
    • Methods – methods used to address the objectives
    • Results – the results obtained in summary form
    • Conclusion – a summary of your findings with recommendations

Always define abbreviations and acronyms including standard measures. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears. Each abstract must be complete i.e. it must include all information necessary for its comprehension and not refer to another text.

Presenting Author:

Presenting author(s) must register for the conference and pay the appropriateregistration fee. Only one person will be allowed to present. Presenting author will be given the certificateof presentation and other authors will be given participation certificate provided they register for theconference.

Note: Abstracts received by IPHACON Secretariat will be reviewed by reviewers and then Scientific Committee will go through the reviewed abstracts and only highest scoring abstracts will get Oral Presentation. This will also depend on the requirements of Oral Presetation under each theme/session. Decision of the Scientific Committee will be final and binding.
